For reservations and information contact the Education Director at (316) 265-9314 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is no charge for guided school tours.
The Historical Museum, located in Wichita's landmark 1892 City Hall, provides guided tours aligned with the Social Studies standards for each grade.

Educational Tours
Requirements for tours:

Call the Museum to schedule at least four weeks in advance

Use the provided Teacher Resource Guide to prepare students for the tour.

Provide transportation and at least two accompanying adults.

Return the completed evaluation form following the tour.
Each tour visits one exhibit and includes hands-on experience with reproduction artifacts. One class of no more than 30 students plus at least two adults can be accommodated on each tour.

Special admission rate for Scout groups:
$2 per Scout and tagalong age 6 or over;
First two troop leaders FREE, additional adults $4 each.
No tagalongs under age 6, please.
